‘Quality’ new appointment for housing association

Gavin Clark has been appointed to the new post, which has been created to enable Pickering and Ferens Homes to further focus its efforts on improving the services it offers to residents and ensuring the association continues to work closely with them.

Mr Clark had previously worked as a performance and quality coordinator for Kingstown Works Limited and enjoyed a varied role in which he was responsible for the development and provision of performance information, the management of complaints, training, communications and marketing.

“I’m really looking forward to taking on a new challenge at Pickering and Ferens Homes,” he said.

“My priorities at Pickering and Ferens Homes will be to develop the range and use of performance information to help improve the services we offer and to help ensure we work closely with our residents to continuously improve our high standards and continue to provide value for money services.

Roger Elliot, director of Pickering and Ferens Homes, said: “We are delighted to welcome Gavin to the Pickering and Ferens Homes team. His appointment is a significant milestone for us in terms of managing the organisation’s continuous improvement from a performance perspective.

“We will continue to work closely with our residents to ensure that they are satisfied with the services which we offer and the way in which we are delivering them. Our residents prove invaluable to us in terms of feedback and we hope Gavin’s appointment will help to nurture the excellent relationship we already have with them.”
