Pop-In Centres
Pickering and Ferens Homes offer our residents several Pop-Ins conveniently located nearby to their housing schemes. These facilities allow residents to socialise with each other and enjoy a wide range of activities including: bingo, fish and chip lunches and performances from entertainers.
The seven Pop-Ins, which are run by committees of resident volunteers, can be found at the association’s schemes in Arden Court, Barrington Avenue, Broadway Drive, Hebrides Close, Majestic Court, Westgarth Avenue and Wheatfield Close.
All residents are encouraged to play an active role at their local Pop-In, even if this is simply turning up on a regular basis. The association has found the Pop-Ins to be extremely popular and integral to boosting our resident’s social life and giving the association’s schemes a real community feel.
