Annual Report feedback

Annual Report feedback

The Report is important as it highlights in which areas the association is doing well, but also acknowledges the areas in which it can improve. It aims to inform and engage the reader, giving them a wider understanding of what we do at the association for our residents.

Along with the Report, we sent out a feedback form to allow residents to let us know their thoughts on the Annual Report.

The feedback suggests that the Annual Report has been a great success. Many residents said that they thought the content of the Report was informative and kept the reader interested as well as being aesthetically pleasing.

Mrs Bielby, of Humberview, said: “The look of the Report really made me want to pick it up and read it. It was clear, bright and cheerful. It was just the right length to cover enough information but also to keep me interested by not going into too much unnecessary detail. The Report was really useful to find out what’s going on behind the scenes at Pickering and Ferens Homes.”

Mr Keith Martin, of Icelandic Close, said: “Being a new resident, I found the Report particularly useful as it gave me an overview of what Pickering and Ferens Homes does and where to go to get more information about services. The Report is very easy on the eye, which makes the content straightforward and enjoyable to read. It is an excellent and very well written piece.”

The feedback that we have received from residents regarding the Annual Report will be used by the association to inform articles in future People First issues. It will also aid the development of the next Annual Report, which we will begin to work on in the New Year, with the intention to publish the Report as soon as the association’s accounts are agreed.

Congratulations to Mrs Holliday, Mrs Murray and Mrs Godfrey who each won one of three cash prizes in the prize draw for sending back their feeedback sheets.
