A housing association that manages more than 1,200 properties across Hull and East Yorkshire plans to appoint two new co-opted trustees to its board.
The charity, which operates from its headquarters in The Maltings, Silvester Street, Hull city centre, is the region’s largest housing association for the over-60s and has properties as far afield as Hornsea and Bridlington.
This week, the association celebrates the official opening of its £2.4m eco-development in west Hull, The Jacobs Homes, which comprises 20 energy efficient bungalows. Pickering and Ferens Homes was also recently Highly Commended for its Rokeby Mews development in the South Yorkshire and Humber Building Excellence Awards, which is run by Local Authority Building Control Yorkshire (LABC).
Now, the board – chaired by Tom Hogan – is encouraging enthusiastic individuals, particularly property management and housing association practitioners, to express interest in joining the committed board to help drive the organisation forward even further.
