Pickering and Ferens Homes is calling for declarations of interest from hardworking and committed people to join its Board of Trustees.
During 2015, the Hull-based housing association will see four of its Trustees retire and it is now looking for two new resident Trustees and two independent Trustees to join its dynamic board this year.
The Hull-based housing association has appealed to its residents, as well as people with experience in finance or development and asset management, to declare their interest in one of the positions available.
Claire Warren, Pickering and Ferens Homes Chief Executive, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for our residents to become directly involved in decisions at Pickering and Ferens Homes. We value the opinions of all of our residents, and we have always found that electing resident trustees is the best way to ensure we work in ways which address the needs of residents.
“The resident trustees will be ambassadors for the organization and engaging with other residents to represent their views.”
People with experience in Finance and/or Asset Management and Development are also encouraged to apply for the two co-opted positions available.
All residents are invited to nominate themselves for the vacancies by Thursday 19 February by completing and returning the expression of interest form recently sent to all residents.
