Humber View has a host of onsite amenities, including a lounge which is a shared social space that is perfect for getting together with friends and neighbours to enjoy coffee , tea and cake . You can also share a wide range of creative hobbies or pastimes, organised events or impromptu social gatherings in the lounge. There are also outdoor seating areas that can be enjoyed with friends and family in the warmer weather.
All schemes have secure controlled door entry systems (soon to be upgraded with video entry services and improved assistive technology within the apartments) and provide a Scheme Manager service. The Scheme Manager is on hand during office hours in the week (which may vary) to take care of the day to day running of the scheme. The Scheme Managers move schemes from time to time to cover annual leave, sickness and also to ensure they are familiar with all of the other RLP schemes.
All of our Retirement Living Plus (RLP) schemes allow residents to live independently, knowing that support is available if needed.
PFH is currently in the process of refurbishing all 5 Retirement Living Plus schemes. Our aim is to create high quality communal spaces that will encourage communities to come together and make friends. We have already completed this work at our Broadway Manor and Humber View Schemes. Our ambition is to deliver a refurbishment project at all schemes over the next 3 years.
