Trustee

Kingston-Upon-Hull

Un-remunerated, all reasonable expenses paid.| c. 1.5 days/ month

We are seeking a new Trustee to join our Board of 12 who shares our vision for being an exemplary provider of housing and services for older people. We are a successful local housing charity with nationally recognised performance, including Investors in People accreditation. We place a particular social value emphasis on health and wellbeing in later life for our residents in Kingston-upon-Hull and across the East Riding of Yorkshire.

We are looking for a new Trustee to help in guiding us to achieve our strategic goals. To balance the skills on our board we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who bring the finance, audit and accountancy skills that we will lose when our much respected Trustee, Godfrey Burley, retires from the Board after 9 years of tremendously loyal service to us.

The time commitment we ask of our Trustees is approximately 1.5 days per month to include board meetings, training, strategy discussions, committees and other meetings throughout the year. In return we can offer you an amazing opportunity to build upon the Charity’s current legacy and play a part in leading future success that makes massive differences to the quality of people’s lives.

We are committed to diversity, and we welcome and encourage candidates from all backgrounds.
